Dr Ioanna A. Tsoumpou is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist sub-specialized in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, in high-risk pregnancies and in the colposcopic examination and management of the pathology of the uterine cervix.
Dr Tsoumpou trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology exclusively in the United Kingdom in University Teaching Hospitals. She completed the seven years of specialization (2004-2011) in posts recognised for training by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). She is one of the few gynaecologists in Greece who have completed the training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom and as result was awarded the relevant certification of specialization “Certificate of Completion of Training” (CCT).

Πριν πάω στην κυρια Τσουμπού δεν είχα σταθερό γυναικολόγο, κάθε φορά που δοκίμαζα κάποιον που μου πρότειναν ένιωθα άβολα και άλλαζα, όποτε από την πρώτη μ επίσκεψη στο ιατρείο της χάρηκα παρά πολύ που βρήκα επιτέλους κάποιον που να μου εξηγήσει ακριβώς τι εξετάσεις πρέπει να κάνω και τι σημαίνουν τα αποτελέσματα με ηρεμία και υπομονή. Όταν έμεινα έγκυος ήμουν 100% σίγουρη ότι ήθελα να με παρακολουθήσει εκείνη. Σε όλη την διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης μου και εγώ κι ο σύζυγος μου την λατρέψαμε πραγματικά! Ήταν διαθέσιμη συνεχώς για οποιαδήποτε απορία και μας εξηγούσε λεπτομερώς όλα τα στάδια, μας καθησύχαζε σε όλες τις λογικές (ή και όχι 😅) ανησυχίες των νέων γονιών με τρομερή κατανόηση. Κατά τη διάρκεια του τοκετού ένιωθα απόλυτη ασφάλεια και πήγαν όλα ιδανικά, σε κάθε στάδιο μαζί με την μαία, μας καθοδηγούσαν ώστε να γεννηθεί το μωράκι με απόλυτη ασφάλεια και να έχουμε όλοι μια θετική εμπειρία.
